There's a funny blog called Stuff White People Like.
And, I swear I am not an idiot. I'm not all book-smarts and no street-smarts. I successfully passed the "Test your IQ vs. Paris Hilton" pop-up screen.
But, what's up with that site? Is it supposed to be tongue-in-cheek fun? Or is it seriously dedicated to stuff that white people like? (Hey, don't forget - call them "Euro-Americans." Let's all try to be more racially sensitive).

That's one of those trend thingies that I avoid. There are probably 1000 "stuff X like" sites by now. I've never visited one and really don't plan on doing it anytime soon.
(Still awake... still the only one... gonna go to bed finally and I'm sure I'll be up before everyone else.. *sigh* )
I have wondered that same thing. I've only been to that blog once though.
I was over leaving a comment on Cookie Crums, and saw your big Texas Flag on your comment. Thought I would come over and say "Hello". I'm a transplant to the DFW area, and it's nice to stop by some neighbors' blogs.

I dont know, but DH and I started following it a few years back and its scary how true it is sometimes...sometimes we do something or plan something and we are like "Oh man, this was on Stuff White People Like"...:-)
it's totally tongue in cheek - there's a "Stuff Black People Like" (several in fact) and i think a few Asian versions floating around also - they're all based on stereotypes - i subscribed to them when i initially found them but the posts weren't witty or funny often enough to keep my interest

It really should be, in my opinion, "Stuff Yuppies Like."
I find that I do indeed like a lot of the early stuff on that blog. I haven't read it in a long time, though.
Never heard of that blog...checked it out. I am so with you on that one. Are they kidding or just really smart (book deal...t-shirts). And are they white too?
For the record I don't wear those FUGLY sweaters. Not even for Christmas!
There's also Stuff Christians Like. As a Christian, I find it HI-larious! But I can make fun of myself right, b/c I am one. ;)
