This poem (?) was inspired by the book "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" written by Beverly Cleary (the same author as the Ramona Quimby books). I have actually NEVER rode on a motorcycle, so Ralph has one up on me.

OMG I totally forgot about the mouse and the motorcycle! I loved that book!
I'm really going to have to get back into the swing of things by the time my kids are able to read those books!
That was a cool book. Cool like me 'cause I've been on a motorcycle lots of times.
Those "book years" go by so quickly - soon it will be my granddaughter reading the same books her mom did.
I sure hope she likes Ramona Quimby and Amelia Bedelia, or I'm not gonna have fun shopping in the bookstore!
I don't think I ever read that book so I was like, "huh???" LOL My stepdad drove a motorcycle when I was in high school and he would take me to school on it. All my friends were jealous because they thought it was so cool. LOL
I recently read that book to my six year old son who loved it. He later informed me that when he grows us daddy will live with him so he can get a motorcycle since I won't allow them at my house!
I totally love that book. I can't wait until my sons are old enough to read it!
