When did you know your husband was "the one"? And, because I'm fascinated by converts, anything about that process is most welcome. I mean, if I'm putting in my requests.

I have tons of questions about photography, but can you explain shutter speed and how to change it? I'd love to be able to snap nighttime pics, but I'm not sure how to go about it the right way. I have a Nikon D40 camera.

When you're busy and overwhelmed, and something has to "give" (or go), what is it you let go of?
Maybe you don't experience this but how do you handle the dinner time rush? Everyday I wonder if I will make it! I get home from work, rush to make dinner while everyone is whining about starving, the dog is barking (b/c he's starving too!), the cat is meowing (oh yeah, she's starving too!). We have to eat, clean up, get homework done by Thing 1 and try to straighten up our house (HA HA). Then we begin Thing 2's bath/bedtime routine. All while trying to talk to each other and get in some quality time with the Things. It's so stressful cramming everything into that 2-3 hour window! How the heck do you do it with 5?!?!
Did you always know you wanted a large family or did you make that decision later in life?
Do you think you will ever teach again? Why did you want to be a teacher in the first place?
Were you and TP always the same faith or did you switch for him? Did you know he wanted to be a minister when you met him? When is he going to find a job closer to me?

I was wonderin'...ok you have 5 kids, what are their ages. I have 4children, (18, 16, 5 and 3)and I am sure I am much older then you....so my next question is: if you got pregnant again, how would you tell your family and your husband's family??? I guess I am asking if your done having children or at least think your done and then umm you have a bun in the oven, not planned how do you tell people who are going to be less then thrilled? Not that your family or husband's family would feel this way, just askin'!
I'm sure - given time - I could come up with deeper questions but my initial one would be this - what made you decide to be a Math teacher? I mean a teacher I get - but Math??? ;-)

Thought of another...
My mom had five of us. She was a sacrificial mom, always taking care of us, never enough care of herself. As I grew older, this was of great concern to me.
Do you allow yourself to take care of you? I don't mean a mani or pedi every now and again or a girls' night out, I mean good, healthy care.
Oooh, and I love so many of these questions. I think if I posted such a thing, I'd only get comments from crickets.
If I were going to go to an SLR type camera, where to begin researching and what lens would be best for the first add on?
